This is the larger 5mg vial of AOD 9604, a modified fragment of human growth hormone. The peptide has 16 residues: the hormone’s 177–191 sequence plus an N-terminal tyrosine. It contains a single disulfide bond between its two cysteines.

Background and solubility notes
Researchers have used AOD 9604 to separate the metabolic activity attributed to growth hormone’s C-terminus from the hormone’s wider effects, mainly in adipocyte and rodent studies. Laboratory notes for some batches report reduced solubility in water, and dissolution improves in a mildly acidic solvent. AOD 9604 is not an approved medicine.
