Orexin B 5mg research peptide
Orexin B, also called hypocretin-2, is a 28-amino-acid linear neuropeptide cut from the same precursor (prepro-orexin) as Orexin A. Unlike Orexin A it has no disulfide bridges. This vial contains 5mg.

Orexin B compared with Orexin A
Orexin B binds preferentially to the OX2 receptor, while Orexin A acts on both OX1R and OX2R. Using the two peptides side by side helps researchers separate the roles of the two receptors in sleep–wake, arousal and feeding studies.

Storage and handling
Keep the sealed vial at -20°C away from light and moisture until it is needed, and let it reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. Your laboratory’s own procedures determine the solvent, concentration and any storage after reconstitution.
