Bioregulator Peptides

Bioregulator peptides are very short synthetic peptides, usually two to four amino acids long, that come from the research programme of Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues in St Petersburg. Each is associated in that literature with a particular tissue, such as the pineal gland (Epitalon), the thymus (Thymogen) or the bronchial tree (Bronchogen). They are studied in cell culture for effects on gene expression and chromatin.
The evidence base is preclinical and comes largely from a small number of research groups. These peptides are not approved medicines and are supplied only for laboratory research.
