Research background
Short peptides of this kind come mostly from the bioregulator research programme of Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues in St Petersburg. Cortagen has been investigated in nerve tissue models and in rodent locomotion and behavioural studies, using both short and longer study designs. Findings come largely from preclinical work, and it is not an approved medicine.
