Research background
Short peptides of this kind come mostly from the bioregulator research programme of Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues in St Petersburg. Pinealon has been examined in neuronal cell cultures, including oxidative-stress and cell-survival models, and in some rodent studies. Because it is so small, it has also been used to study how short peptides might reach the cell nucleus. It is not an approved medicine.

Storage and handling
Keep the sealed vial at -20°C away from light and moisture until it is needed, and let it reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. Your laboratory’s own procedures determine the solvent, concentration and any storage after reconstitution.
