NAD+ 250mg research compound
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, oxidised form) is a coenzyme present in every living cell. It is not a peptide, but it is used in many of the same metabolism and ageing studies as the peptides in this range. This listing is 250mg of solid.

NAD+ in cell metabolism research
NAD+ accepts electrons in redox reactions of glycolysis and the citric-acid cycle. It is also used up by enzymes such as sirtuins and PARPs, which makes it central to research on cellular energy, DNA repair and age-related decline in NAD+ levels. Solutions can range from colourless to yellowish, depending on concentration and formulation.

Storage and handling
Keep the container sealed at -20°C, protected from light and moisture, and let it reach room temperature before opening. NAD+ is hygroscopic, so close the container promptly after weighing. Prepare solutions according to your laboratory’s own protocols.
