Research background
Short peptides of this kind come mostly from the bioregulator research programme of Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues in St Petersburg. Vesilute has been used in bioregulator and cell-signalling studies, including work on gene expression in cultured cells. Because it is a simple dipeptide, it is also a convenient reference compound alongside larger peptides in the series. It is not an approved medicine.

Storage and handling
Lyophilised peptides are generally kept sealed and frozen, away from light and moisture. Check the storage instructions on the vial label on arrival, and follow your laboratory’s protocols for reconstitution and for storing any solution.
