Mechano Growth Factor 2mg (MGF)
Mechano Growth Factor (MGF) is the name given to a splice variant of the IGF-1 gene, IGF-1Ec in humans, that is expressed in muscle after mechanical load. The research peptide sold as MGF corresponds to the variant’s distinctive C-terminal E-domain. This vial contains 2mg.

Where MGF comes from
The MGF E-peptide has been studied in muscle cell (myoblast) cultures and animal models to examine whether it has activity independent of mature IGF-1. Results in the literature are mixed, and the peptide is cleared rapidly. The PEGylated form was developed to extend its stability.

Storage and handling
Keep the sealed vial at -20°C away from light and moisture until it is needed, and let it reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. Your laboratory’s own procedures determine the solvent, concentration and any storage after reconstitution.
