GHK-Cu 50mg copper peptide
GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. The free tripeptide was first described in human plasma in the early 1970s, and it binds copper(II) to form a stable coordination complex. That complex, not the free peptide, is what this 50mg vial contains, and the copper is what gives the solid its blue colour. It is also known as copper tripeptide-1 and prezatide copper.

GHK-Cu in research
GHK-Cu is widely used in fibroblast and keratinocyte cultures to study collagen and extracellular-matrix synthesis, and in gene-expression and wound-model research. It is also a common cosmetic ingredient, which is a separate regulatory category; this product is sold only as a laboratory reagent. For reference, the CAS number of the free tripeptide is 49557-75-7, which does not identify this copper complex.

Storage and handling
Keep the sealed vial at -20°C away from light and moisture until it is needed, and let it reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. Your laboratory’s own procedures determine the solvent, concentration and any storage after reconstitution.
