PTD-DBM 1mg research peptide
PTD-DBM joins a protein transduction domain (PTD), a poly-arginine sequence that carries cargo across cell membranes, to a Dishevelled-binding motif (DBM). Inside the cell, the DBM interferes with the binding of the protein CXXC5 to Dishevelled. This vial contains 1mg.

Research background
CXXC5 acts as a negative regulator of Wnt/β-catenin signalling, so blocking its interaction with Dishevelled can strengthen that pathway. PTD-DBM has been studied in mouse models of hair follicle regeneration and wound healing. The work is preclinical.

Storage and handling
Lyophilised peptides are generally kept sealed and frozen, away from light and moisture. Check the storage instructions on the vial label on arrival, and follow your laboratory’s protocols for reconstitution and for storing any solution.
