Research background
Short peptides of this kind come mostly from the bioregulator research programme of Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues in St Petersburg. Pancragen has been examined in pancreatic cell cultures, with work on endocrine signalling and on age-related changes in cell function. These are preclinical studies. Pancragen is not an approved medicine.
