How KPV is used
In cell research, KPV is used to explore anti-inflammatory signalling separately from activation of the melanocortin receptors that drive pigmentation. It has been tested in epithelial, immune and intestinal cell models, and in rodent models of gut inflammation.

Storage and handling
On arrival, transfer the unopened vial to storage at -20°C, protected from light and moisture. Allow it to warm to room temperature before the seal is broken. Reconstitution conditions and the handling of any solution are for the receiving laboratory to set.
